Texas Dept of Transportation Waco District Headquarters

Every year twice a year we drive thru Waco going to the border of Oklahoma and Texas to pick up our children or to visit them. In the past Waco was always hard to get through because of construction and I wouldn't look forward to it. But ... This year just yesterday we drove through Friday night and again Sun morning and let me tell you. It was so easy and I had to question myself "like did we really just zoom by Waco with no problem?" Wow!!! Y'all did awesome!! Way to go. All the hard work, blood sweat and tears really paid off. Can't thank y'all enough!!! Now just get Austin on board!!

We tried to report the bad traffic on the ramp of Loop 340 East bound before Bagbe Avenue, due to the closed Loop 340. Only the right lane on the ramp was open. At least, the middle lane on the ramp should have been opened. The newly built 3rd lane on the left could have been opened too. It took us about 10 minutes to move about 2 miles which is ridiculous. However, there is no answering service in DOT and we have to wait until tomorrow morning to report. Meanwhile, hundreds of people have to inch their ways home. Terrible service.
