FRAUD!! I stayed at the hotel on 3/18-20/22 and with the many booking issues we entered our room with our teenage children our sheets were dirty, but we were informed there wasn't extra. I spilled a small amount of DR Pepper on my bed so I cleaned it up with a towel immediately and informed immediately the day reception who told me to just put a towel over it. I did but it didn't soak through the sheet. Once we checked out we did not receive a call from the hotel. I found an additional $150 charge to our room that was unauthorized. I called the hotel RUSSELL who informed me we were charged for a bed being peed on. No one peed on the bed it was the soda but he told me to contact the General manager where I used the email only provided with ABSOLUTELY no response. I called the hotel back and asked for a corporate number and was told they can't give it OUT. I asked for the GM number where he laugh and said no also. Told me to call Choice hotel Customer service. I did where I sat on hold for an hour and spent another hour half to file a complaint. I authorized a $10 fee to cover snacks we did not buy and the daytime clerk was too lazy to make a note about a spilled soda but quick to fraudulently charge me $150 for soda on a bed that I had to sleep on a towel. Shame this hotel has no money or effort to change sheets in a room so that the $525 I paid was for a clean room for two days. I'm fighting this charge since the front desk knew it was soda and wasn't able to provide a clean sheet to replace it with. BEWARE! This hotel will tell you it's fine but behind your back charge you a random amount after you check out. I never authorized a $150 charge and I will continue to fight this charge. I found nothing indicating we were not allowed to have food or drinks in the room. We cleaned up our room before we left so they must charge for housekeeping to the customers $150 fee. Very disappointed but the overnight clerk is wonderful and friendly. I hope she can find a more customer friendly hotel.
