Ive paid my account without issues for many years. I called with plenty of time to get my banking info changed, my beneficiaries changed, and my name changed due to marriage. The agent took down all the info and then didnt make the change.
I called back the following week and spoke to his wife. She stated she heard the whole conversation and that hes not good with service work. She took all the info again and assured the banking would be updated in time for the draft.
It was not. And my old bank account went negative.
As of now, my name has not been changed. My bank account has not been changed. My beneficiaries have not been changed. If I died today, my policy would be in no pay status because the bank has now returned the payment, and the life money would be going to the wrong person.
I was kind during the entire exchange and understanding that things can slip through the cracks as Eva down talked her husbands service abilities and even offered to pay any overdraft fees. I even told her no worries because things happen and I would see if my bank could waive the fee mistakes happen.
It wasnt until this morning that I decided to make this review because of her snarky and passive aggressive text to me about her being on vacation and if my silly customer service experience with them wasnt good enough, then I can go somewhere else.
Well, I am. And Im looking forward to the agent transfer.
Ive gone years without issues here because I havent had to call them for anything. All my payments quietly auto drafted. But as soon as I need service on my accounts its errors and most importantly attitude. I dont mind mistakes if we can correct them but I do not appreciate the snarky texts. You are in a service industry and I have not given you any reason to be rude to me. Ive been a very understanding and paying customer.
