Sometimes Spouse

I asked for a phone call on Facebook to save them a trip by describing the job over the phone but they refused. I think going forward Id rather deal with a company that does what the customer asks. I could see only disappointment in the future after dealing sometimes spouse Their mission is obviously based on doing what they want instead of what the customer request from the very beginning. If it starts bad it will no doubt end bad.

The quality of work I received by this company was so below what I expected I will NEVER use them again. And like I would with a friend considering using this company, I think it is important to share my experience. I recently purchased a new house and hired Sometimes Spouse Waco to take down the popcorn ceilings, retexture the ceilings and add a window between the kitchen and living room. We picked sometimes spouse based on their good reviews; however, our experience was far from 5-star service. The work was supposed to be done on Saturday; we arrived at the house on Sunday to a mess. The texture had been sprayed and dropped all over the walls not just the ceiling. The window that was created had the worst dry wall job I had ever seen. We called Max, he came to the house and looked at the work quality that Monday. Stating Solomon, the employee who was working for sometimes spouse in my home, would be back on Tuesday. However, instead of owning up to the fact that his company did poor quality, he told me they were not finished and were planning on coming back. Mind you this is Monday afternoon; all the tools and supplies were cleaned up and taken- so it did not look like anyone was going to return. Furthermore, he stated that it would easily come off the walls, in some way suggesting that I was to clean it up completely unprofessional given that I was paying for the service. They came a corrected some of the drywall issues and a bit of the texturing. The real issue came when I noticed two large cracks in the ceiling and some additional popcorn still left in patches on the ceiling. Max assured us that when they took down the popcorn, any cracks would be fixed; this was discussed at our walk-through estimate. They were not. At this point we are 2 weeks after they were supposed to be finished, so we continued to paint the house and Max told us they would come back and fix both cracks and prime and paint them to match the ceilings. That was 3 weeks ago. I have attached photos of the fix they gave me, and you can judge the quality of work this company produces. Some of the other surprises this company left me. The window framing was cut at the incorrect angle- leaving a hole in every corner. The light fixture in the kitchen was not properly taped off, so we got the joy of spending an hour scraping on dried ceiling texture. The same goes for the door frames, doors, shelves in every closet. And the ceiling in our laundry room looks terrible. We paid over $3000 for work well below the standard I expect of any company. I would think twice before using this company. I have attached photos for you to judge the quality of work yourself. Moreover, I have time and time again given Sometimes Spouse the opportunity to correct the errors and continued to text Max. This was the final step to an unending process with little resolve and much frustration.

Max Ogle is running a scam business out of Waco TX. He has lied about the paint he is using on my house and caused damaged to my property during the repaint and wood rot job. I have over spray on everything, the concrete, the windows, the shutters, the shingles, the bbq pit, all of the door seals and the floor inside the house too. He used the cheapest contractors paint he could buy and tried to pass it off as the best paint at Sherwin Williams. He lied to me several times about it and I had to seek Sherwin Williams professional to tell me he was lying. After a month of this paint being on the house it is now coming off and I need to get it repainted by a real professional. He has stopped to returning my calls and will not refund me the money. This is a scam business please be aware.

Sometimes Spouse is selling tools out of their office and listing them on Facebook marketplace. They sold me a Ryobi combo tool set. When I asked about the condition of he battery I was told that if I got home and it didnt work, I would be able to bring it back for another one. So the battery didnt work and I brought it back the very next day and was told that I couldnt get another one. When I explained that I bought something useless because the battery isnt good she told me thats your fault. She then commenced to make me leave the office. Do not do business with them!! They lie!! Follow up as the owner replied to say that this was not their business however their Facebook page lists 1604 Spring Valley as their address. I have a message from Facebook verifying the address where the tools are sold, which is Althea exact same address..... Hmmm.... seems like they really like to lie on multiple levels. Natalie Ogle replied to my message that gave me the address where the tools were sold. Same address. Liars.
