Six West Medical Center

Dr. Carey is great but the staff is ridiculous. Rude on the phone. Will talk to you like your dumb. Set an apt, tell you to arrive 15 minutes early and then still sit there for over an hour and when you ask if your going to be seen, they are rude and say just wait. If you can't keep up with a schedule then dont book that many apts in one day!!!

Dr. Porter is very professional, kind, and responsive to questions. He has good people skills and is knowledgeable in caring for his patients. Nurse Tanya is a wonderful nurse who is attentive to the patient and their needs. I would highly recommend this physician and his staff to take care of your medical needs. Thank you Dr. Porter.

So my girlfriend and I were on the hunt for a Medical facility that could complete a Diabetes test for her. Upon arrival I spoke with a lady up front who was extremely rude and acted as though I had asked her a question that was unknown in the medical world. My question to her was, "can you guys do a Diabetes test for my girlfriend?" The lady acted as if I had committed a sin, and proceeded to ask what I was talking about and why didn't I just go to the emergency room. First of all, I came to this facility because of the great reviews and how it mentioned that the staff was friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately, this was not the case for me and my girlfriend , but thankfully I was directed to another facility by a patient who was in the waiting room. I guess from here on out, don't come to this facility asking questions about Diabetes and different test that can be performed.
