I reach out more than my VR&E counselor reaches out to me. It is hard to get in contact with them you will wait numerous days if not weeks for a response, then receive a message saying sorry. I had better service from the Virginia VR&E office and it shows me this office isnt doing their job just doing the bare minimum. Looking at the reviews and Im not surprise reading. Hopefully someone will fix this because its irritating and frustrating.

Chloe Freeman, Shalonda Taylor, and Lakelsey Johnson are all absolutely scum. This office is rated as the worst in the country. I am currently doing a story about the sheer amount of fraud committed by this office.

THIS OFFICE PURPOSEFULLY BLOCKS THEIR NUMBER TO AND REFERES THE 1-800 NUMBER JUST SO THEY DON'T HAVE TO ANSWER QUESTIONS. THE PEOPLE FROM THE NATIONAL CONTAC TCENTER ARE VERY NICE, HOWEVER THEY CAN'T DO MUC H OF ANYTHING, STOP HIDING AND LYING TO THESE VETERANS. ITS DISGUSTING.

I applied for VR&E and attended my appointment as needed, which they don't tell you will be a group of us getting briefed. The brief consisted of telling us all the reason why we don't qualify for VR&E and how we need to use the GI Bill to go to college. After the brief the lead sends us all back out to the waiting room and calls us to the back, one by one, to evaluate our packets and either approve or deny the packet. I traveled an hour to my appointment and did not allot 4 hours for this appointment as it says it would only take 2 hours. I saw a different counselor that took my packet to review with me instead of the lead and we communicated for 1 additional day after my appointment on 20 DEC. This was a Wednesday and he said he would contact me by Thursday the next week due to my short suspense. Here it is a month later and I have not received a call, email or anything to notify me of the results. This is very frustrating, and I know why us Veterans don't want to go to the VA. It's all talk and no action. They tell you everything you want to hear, just to do nothing to help you!

Have been trying to reach a staff member SINCE APRIL. The office doesn't even check their voicemail, clearly.
