Parc on 5th Apartments & Townhomes

Move in was painless with no unexpected payments or anything. Everything was transparent. Haven't barely heard my neighbors yet which is always a good sign. Seems like a friendly enough place.

UPDATE: 3/15/2024 Move Out Issues With Parc on 5th Apartments (See photos of how I left apartment on move out day, and Parc on 5th insisted they needed to charge me $80 for touch up paint and cleaning) after already charging a mandatory $105 for carpet cleaning in one room. To all future tenants, do not move to Parc on 5th. They will Nickel and Dime you on move out and try and keep as much of your security deposit as possible. When I moved into my apartment back in March 2023 my apartment had scuffs on the corners of walls, scuffs on my front door, scrapes on floors in the kitchen, scuffs on the front door, black finger prints on shower wall, and purple marker inside of my dryer from a previous tenant. (I had to have maintenance check if the marker was permanently stuck prior to using dryer in fears it could get on my clothes if used.) Working with Brynn on my move out has been a struggle, management has been trying to charge me $40 for one hour touch up paint and $40 one hour touch up cleaning. They told me that when they did a walk through of my unit they found black marks on the walls and minor scuffs which other places would consider this normal wear and tear. They presented me with pictures of such minor scuffs that it almost seemed laughable at what they were trying to charge me for. When I contested these charges, they told me I left the apartment in "good" shape but not "new" and that they could have charged me upwards of $220 for cleaning but $80 was a minor fee after move out. The wording of the email made it seem like they were cutting me a break or something... They told me that they needed to do touch up cleaning/paint for a future resident. I thought this was hypocritical because when I arrived at my apartment in March 2023 it had signs of wear and tear which leads me to believe these charges are nothing but lies/deceit. Even if they needed to clean up a scuff or two it doesn't take upwards of an hour to touch up an apartment that is left in similar shape to when I arrived a year ago. Regardless I am writing this review because Parc on 5th does not want to compromise on these charges and would rather I leave a 1 star review than work with a previous tenant who always paid on time, never had noise complaints and spent 2 hours after moving to deep clean the apartment. (See photos attached of how I left the apartment and try and find $40 worth of clean up and $40 of touch of paint needed..) One final thing to note. Do not trust the high review of this property. The 5 star reviews come from surveys that Parc on 5th sends out after maintenance requests have been completed. No where in the survey does it say that your reviee will be published to google. So if you look closely a lot of 5 star reviews on here will say something about maintenance being helpful and quick but nothing else about the place. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ive lived here about 4 months now and the apartment has been great. Very easy access to the highway, and Target and Walmart are right up the road which is a plus. The apartment has a nice pool, nice appliances and in unit washer and dryer. Reason I am giving 4 stars is the absolutely insane amount of gnats and large spiders at the property during the summer. Many times I come home and there are hundreds of gnats in the hallway and ton on everyone's door. Its very hard to get in and out of the apartment at night as the gnats will come in your apartment almost immediately. Also lately there has been a good amount of spider webs showing up. The complex has been good about sweeping up the spider webs bi-weekly but they appear a few days later around the property and its really an eyesore to look at.
