Geek Squad

Made an appointment to get the glass of the back of iPhone replaced ( its shattered) about 5 days in advance. Show up at my appointment time and they tell me they dont have the part in stock and they cant order it unless they take my iPhone and it will take anywhere between 1-3 days to get the part. Dont know about you but not having a phone for 1-3 days doesnt really work for me. Wish someone would have called me the day before or even day of to let me know that they were out of stock since they knew exactly what part I needed from my booking. Would have saved me 40 minutes of driving/ gas. Feels like this was easily preventable but they did not take the time to call.

The "Geek Squad" repair person claimed they "didn't feel comfortable" installing a new screen on my laptop that was 7 mos past the warranty I bought FROM Best Buy. I was willing to pay, but I got turned away! If I told my customers I "didn't feel comfortable" helping them, in my line of work, my boss would have me in the "unemployed line" before the hour was up! VERY DISAPPOINTING!

I completely wiped everything off of my macbook and needed IOS reinstalled back onto it. Express Tech in Orem (An "Apple approved" store) quoted me $150 to fix it. I came here and they fixed it in 15 minutes completely for free. I'm SO grateful that I came here instead. The employee I talked to was really nice, too.
