Store says it closes at 6:30pm, I came at 6:05pm and it was already closed :(

Visionworks lost my business before even seeing me. I called to get information regarding insurance coverage and their awful "virtual assistant, Amelia" stonewalled me and prevented me from talking to a person. I refuse to patron a business that refuses to talk to its customers.

I would go anywhere else if you plan on buying Ray bans or Oakley glasses. Visionworks is a direct competitor with Luxottica who manufactures Ray ban/Oakley. So Visionworks charges much higher prices over the manufacture MSRP in order for them to be allowed to sell them in store. They do offer discounts, but it's still not enough to offset the increase in cost over MSRP. Also, I purchased a pair of sunglasses that were supposed to be polarized. They weren't. I called back in and they assured me that they were. I brought them to another sunglass store and verified that they were not. Simple mistake, but the manager was rude when I brought them back in to return them. She told me that I have to wait 30 days in order to use my insurance again and that there was nothing they could do. I called a different location and their employee called into corporate and was able to fix everything so I could use my insurance right away.

Although I approved of the Optometrists thorough eye examination, I was disappointed with him not spending any time at the end of the exam to ask me if I had any questions or concerns. He seemed more concerned with getting to the next patient. Also, although the store was staffed with three Eye Glass techs, I was very disappointed that my Visionworks eyeglass technician told me she had no way to print me a quote for the pair of eyeglasses I had selected. Instead all I was given was a dollar amount total for my eye glasses selection. Not too professional from the stand point to allow your customer to go shop around and compare. So, did go compare at Costco and for the same quoted price of one pair of glasses from Visionworks I was able to purchase two pairs of eye glasses ( one normal wear pair with same level of customizations and a computer reading glasses ). I will definitely be using Costco next time.
