About 7-8 years ago I started to look into a reverse mortgage on my home, so I could access the accumulated equity as part of my retirement income. I spoke to 3 companies and in the end, did not feel ready to go ahead. I let the whole thing sit on the backburner until this year (2022). Then this year, our insurance agent recommended Amber Rainford from Fairway Mortgage as being a stellar agent to walk us through the reverse mortgage process, which has become extremely daunting and complicated for the average senior persons in America. I took a chance and made an appointment with Amber. What a great breath of fresh air - Clear, Concise, Caring- highly Competent - Sincere - Patient - and in every way 'there for you' in getting your questions-doubts-concerns resolved and your feet 'well on the way' to completion. After my initial interview, and a few months waiting period, I asked Amber to complete the reverse mortgage loan. She is a real expert in this complex field and uses her extensive resources for the benefit and advantage of the client. The process is completed now and I would highly recommend Amber for any reverse mortgage services, even if you are absolutely terrified of the complexities that seemingly confront you at every step. She is able to make the process comfortable and believable, and spares no effort in doing so. She was very patient with explaining questions, even those that were asked multiple times. She even takes calls and gladly gives help to those who did not do their reverse mortgage through her originally, but who are presently in a situation that they cannot get their questions answered. Amber is someone setting the example of what all of us should do in our daily work, whatever that is. What I appreciated the most, is that whatever she told me and answers to my questions and concerns, has turned out to be the truth. I appreciated getting the truth form someone, beginning to end.
