        I can't rate the food as I never got service. We were promptly seated and after 10 minutes of being Ghosted by every server we gave up and left. I assume they just thought the other server was handling us.

        We hadnt been back to Gourmandise for a very long time because, although the food is very good and the baked items excellent, the service is beyond bad! We decided to go for lunch today (4/4/24) because we are moving residences and needed a break. We were seated immediately. There were many empty tables at 12:15 pm so there wasnt a lunch rush. We waited and waited for a server to show up but nope, nothing. After more than 10 minutes (more like 15) the hostess rushed over with 2 glasses of ice water and said that our server was busy with a problem with the check at another table (uhm, isnt that the managers problem?). She didnt bother to take even our drink orders. No apology, nothing. We still have no idea which of the servers (who purposely didnt look at us) was supposed to have our table. We waited another 5 minutes and left. Their loss! We always tip at least 20% (all of our kids have worked in restaurants-we get it). Come on Gourmandise, your food is worth it but your terrible service is chasing people away!!!
