A serious blast! Great place for family gatherings and fun. Road is a little bumpy getting in. But can still be done in a van. And great fishing and canoeing!

It is a long, dusty, bumpy road to reach this campsite. It was very crowded and busy the weekend I went. Make sure to leash your dog. We witnessed a fight between two that were off leash. There is no phone service. Restrooms do not have showers. Bring cash for the tiny store. They do sell ice and firewood.

This campground is beautiful. Loop C and A had the most shade. we felt far enough away from our neighbors, had lots of shade, the campground was clean, and the hosts were kind. We had to pay to dump at the end and later found out we could have picked up a token for a free dump pass. I was frustrated because when we checked in they could clearly see we had a trailer and the hosts should have just given us a pass. We only found out because the guy behind us told us and we had already paid the expensive fee to dump. The ride up to the campground is long. When you get off the highway its narrow, winding roads, and washboard dirt road half of the way. So plan on a long and bumpy drive it. The creek is a short drive away from the campsites.

The drive is a little rough for the last few miles but our compact car made it like a champ. Very beautiful camp ground! We stayed in D2 and loved the spot. Great spot for a 6 man tent, excellent shade coverage and close to bathrooms and close to water. Within walking distance to the reservoir and Nature trail.
