Scout Lookout in Zion National Park is an exhilarating hike offering stunning views of the canyon below. The trail presents a moderate challenge with steep sections, but the panoramic vistas from the top make it well worth the effort. It's a must-visit for adventurers and photographers looking to capture Zion's beauty from a unique vantage point.

Jaw dropping views of Zion Canyon and a view of Angel's Landing. Even if you don't win the Angel's Landing Permit Lottery, go on the Scout Lookout via West Rim Trail (from Grotto Shuttle Stop 6). Go a bit further up the West Rim Trail, and find a break/lunch spot facing Angel's Landing for awesome views. You can see hikers attempt Angel's Landing. Difficulty: Moderate - Strenous, definitely a lot of uphill climbing, add in the 21 switchbacks (Walter's Wiggle). Worth it the hard work. Allow about 3 hours. Restrooms: There are restrooms (~3 qty) at Scout Lookout. Restrooms available are at the Grotto Shuttle Stop at the bottom.
