    I have been coming to the Taylorsville Blaze location for a few years now. I really like the pizza and the service has usually been good. Apparently the process for ordering pizza has changed. All pizza topping and info about the order must be given at the register. The girl working treated me like the soup nazi from Seinfeld. I told her that this process was not the best way to do things and she pointed to a card with a list of items. To make things worse they burnt my pizza. I did not leave a tip. I will not go to this location anymore. Hire better staff. Your order process sucks.

    The new ordering process where you have to pick everything and pay at the beginning of the line takes away the appeal of a build your own pizza experience. Please change it back.

    This place has really gone downhill. The old order system was what made this place different from other pizza places. I ordered my pizza and given i had a long list off ingredients at least three of them didn't make it to my pizza. I didn't notice until I was home and by then it wasn't worth it to come back. My wife ordered extra pepperoni and had 4 total on her pizza. We waited a little over an hour for two personal pizzas because the line moves so slow. Not interested in coming back. I'm sure the new system helps save money but is slow and inconsistent. I would rather pay a few extra dollars and go back to the old way.

    Blaze pizza is obviously the worst now. Because now you have to pay for your pizza and customize it at the register instead of customizing it first, then paying. It sucks because when you first come in to blaze, you get to order what you want for the pizza and let the employee's know if you want more topping than what they add on it. Now you have to tell them what you want on it, and they'll just add a little bit of cheese and a little bit of the other toppings. Blaze pizza is no longer a good place to come. I used to like it because i could customize it the WAY i liked it since all the other places used to just add light condiments. While this place, i could tell the people to add more cheese, mushrooms, or any other condiments i wanted than I'd pay. THIS PLACE WENT DOWNHILL SO BAD THAT I WILL NOT COME BACK UNTILL THEY CHANGE IT BACK.

    I have been coming to the Taylorsville location for a number of years and have always been extremely pleased with the food and service. I especially enjoyed the fact that you could customize your pizza by asking the preparer to "add more" of this, or that, and they graciously would. However, I was extremely disappointed when I came to this same location approximately 2 weeks ago ( March 20, 2024) to find that they changed how you ordered your pizza and you could no longer have it "made to order". This time, I ordered my pizza with all the toppings and was told to "have a seat and we will call you." Upon receiving my pizza, I was extremely disappointed! There were hardly any toppings! I had ordered, chicken, pineapple, roasted garlic, mushrooms, green peppers, torn basil and torn spinach. On one hand, I could count the number of pieces of chicken, pineapple, roasted garlic, green peppers and mushrooms that was on the pizza! And the basil and spinach were not torn either, there were maybe 3 leaves of each and they were left whole, which is NOT what I wanted, because as I bit into the pizza, the basil or spinach leaf/leaves literally brought everything else down off the pizza onto the plate. It was terrible! I was EXTREMELY disappointed with the construction of my pizza and the preparer, due to this. I had decided that IF I came here again, I was going to see if I could talk with a manager or the preparer about putting more toppings on my pizza as I used to be able to do in the past. Well, I just came to this same location, today, April 3, 2024, but this time with several people from my office and because of the number of people, I decided to just go through their new process and see how my pizza turned out. Well, once again, I and several of my colleagues were EXTREMELY disappointed with our pizzas. I ordered the same toppings as a couple of weeks ago and with the same results, even though I told the cashier that I wanted extra ricotta cheese, roasted garlic, pineapple, chicken and mushrooms and I wanted the spinach and basil torn, not whole, NONE OF WHICH was produced! I am VERY DISPLEASED WITH THE WAY this location has changed their process and their lack of care in preparing the pizzas for their customers. I am writing to let Blaze Pizza Administration know that I am willing to come back one more time, but this time I WILL BE asking for a manager and asking that I have my pizza made the way I requested it, AND, depending on how I am treated when this happens, will determine whether or not I EVER come back to Blaze Pizza again! As it stands 6 of my colleagues were so disappointed with their pizzas that they said they would not return. This is very sad, because Blaze used to be a favorite of ours. I am willing to give this establishment another chance, but like I said, depending on how I am treated when I speak to a manager about how I would like my pizza AND how my pizza actually turns out, will determine whether or not I EVER come here again! Please note, upon my next visit, I will be commenting again here on this review as to how I was treated and how my pizza was prepared and if I am not pleased, you can count on me NEVER recommending Blaze Pizza to anyone ever again, and I used to highly praise this Blaze Pizza location and recommend it's pizza to everyone. I do hope that Management reads this review and takes to heart my message, because they really need to improve their service and product or there business will be suffering and very quickly.

image I have been coming to the Taylorsville Blaze location for a few years now. I really like the pizza and the service has usually been good.
Apparently the process for ordering pizza has changed. All pizza topping and info about the order must be given at the register. The girl working treated me like the soup nazi from Seinfeld. I told her that this process was not the best way to do things and she pointed to a card with a list of items.
To make things worse they burnt my pizza. I did not leave a tip.
I will not go to this location anymore.
Hire better staff. Your order process sucks.
