Very disappointed thst I was charged $1300 to be told I needed to spend an additional $8000 to repair my car that I wa as a le to repair for absolutely nothing . They claimed I needed to.replace.something I didn't need to replace and when I called them out in this yku woukd think they woukd offer to refund some of my money . But not a chance I was told that is what Porsche recommended . I Highly doubt.that Porsche recommends ripping off clients and try to charge customers for parts they don't need . Instead admitting they just didn't know what was wrong . They part simply needed to be installed correctly. Do your research inam not a mechanic by any means but when it comes to the fuel system on a newer 718 I I am much more lnowledgable than ''Certified Porsche Mechanic" I took it to a Dealership and have no issue paying for a service if I am getting accurate information. But that wasn't the case here . I made.several attempts to reach service Manger and would be given back to same.person that helped . I know he was following what the process is so it was not an attack on him. Every effort was made to keep me from speaking to a manager. I STRONGLY FEEL I WAS TAKEN ADVAMTAGE.OF AND . I don't feel that I should have been charged $1300 this should have been covered in the $249 Diagnostic Fee. I couldn't use the 1490 towards fixing the issue I was told part was on back order a part I never needed to replace I have put over 300 miles on my car and so far not an issue
