Had no idea what to expect when I signed up for this 2 day class. Haven't been on a bike in decades. I want to ride the Transamerica Trail and needed an off road skillset. Make no mistake this is a hard class. The drills were grueling. Having said that, I would not have wanted anything less. Our instructor Josh was very thorough in the drills he put us through. The area where the drills were was set up perfectly to develop the skills needed off road. Understand that I just celebrated my 69th birthday, but I ain't dead yet so I am always looking for the next adventure. These guys gave me the knowledge and confidence that I will need when I tackle the TAT. Negative comments? Well, some of the tortilla chips set out as a snack were broken... Wasnt sure what to expect I have been urged by many friends to explore this sport. Some professional others explorers. My world is the backcountry from sleds, skiing, mtn biking and gravel racing. I came into this not having any idea of what adventure riding was and barely knew how to ride a motorized bicycle. The beginner course took me through me a process that gave me the confidence and skills to embrace a new outlet: Adventure Moto! I have since signed up for a Moto drivers license and been to 3 dealers to purchase my 1st Moto. This sport is amazing and I would have passed up this opportunity had it not been for Grit! Now, I am all in and heading to Baja this winter! With my new bike ( Havent decided yet). The attention to detail and skills that were taught are beyond any other sport I have ever experienced and the learning curve was nearly eliminated due to this experienced team. Thank you for opening another world. See you out there
