David is a great photographer. We used him for our wedding. So patient and accommodating. Best there is. Family portraits are so very good and creative.

Scott Hancock took photos at my friend's wedding. From the start he was extremely disorganized and seemed to lack knowledge of how to even take photos at a wedding. He chose a spot outside of the Payson Temple that was less than ideal. He then awkwardly positioned all of the guests and because of the spot he had chosen everyone's faces were covered in shadows. The positioning of everyone was very awkward and disorganized and lacked any semblance of balance. He also almost didn't take pictures of the bride and bridesmaids, until my friend told him that he needed to. When the bride and groom came out of the temple doors he told all of the family and friends that we couldn't cheer loudly and even yelled at one of my friends for cheering for them. Then later on in the night he came to the wedding reception and only stayed for a very short period and took absolutely no photos of the bride and groom dancing. He also took no photos of the bride and groom leaving the reception and made multiple rude comments to the bride. He also bragged about photoshopping the photos, took almost two months to edit them, put very outdated vignettes around almost every photo, and said that the original, unedited photos had all been deleted. I would never ever recommend using Scott Hancock Photography and I think that Scott should be ashamed of the way he conducts himself and his business. If I could leave zero stars I would.
