Most of the negative reviews of the Salt Lake Chamber are confusing this organization with the Department of Commerce, Visit Salt Lake, or other businesses that are not affiliated with the Chamber. The Salt Lake Chamber of Commerce is a business association - not a government entity - which allows for collaboration and networking between businesses in the state. They host a number of educational and constructive events every year, including many that are open to non-members. I especially enjoy the Business Women's Forum networking luncheons!

After studying the history of this deplorable institution, I would not want to do business with them. So much devastation & disruption to the community has been perpetrated by the Salt Lake Chamber of Commerce which says that it is a "non-profit and member based organization" but the founders ran on corrupt values that destroy families.

I ordered the visitors packet before Thanksgiving and STILL have not received it! Very poor customer service!

As the CEO of a different chamber of commerce, I can't begin to express how wonderful the Salt Lake Chamber has been to work with over the last ten years. They have been amazingly helpful and inclusive on so many levels. As the largest chamber in the State of Utah, they have invited our chamber on numerous occasions to partner with them on key initiatives that have had a positive impact on Utah business. They have also been incredible to work with on critical legislative issues, and have put in the hours to ensure positive outcomes are achieved! The Salt Lake Chamber certainly embraces the "rising tide" mentality. Thank you for all that you do, keep up the great work!
