Should be called Aroids & Tropicals... Visited the Salt Lake City location of Cactus and Tropicals, and was very disappointed by the cactus / succulent selection. Given the name of this nursery, I expected to see a much larger cactus section, and was hoping to see some more uncommon species. The cactus section was mostly a tiny corner in the store, with a very small selection of common cacti you could find anywhere. You could probably find more variety at a Home Depot. The only unique homage to cacti in this nursery are the giant barrel cacti in the back. Ultimately, this is a very well kept nursery that has a very nice interior and healthy looking plants - but you shouldn't get your hopes up coming here looking for cacti. It's mostly just aroids.

I usually find some great bouquets to grab, the ready to go section had so few I decided to go w the custom. They let me pick some items I wanted in there and asked me for budget. I said under 100 and he said the peonies were on their last days so I thought I'd be getting a great deal or extra bouquet. The one I got was unbalanced and many flowers looked smooshed. The florist asked if it was okay, I should have said no but didn't want to insult them. The bouquet I'd small and unbalanced. Lots of fillerand wilting flowers. I wish I could post pictures here.

Best plant store in Utah. Especially like the bonsai section. Some decent prices some not. Pots are all overpriced. I still love going and always find something great.
