The Grille at Mount Anthony Country Club

Vegetarian options: We liked that the menu was vegetarian friendly. We aren't strictly vegetarian anymore, but wanted to make a meal out of their amazing appetizers. We had poutine, coconut shrimp with Thai chili sauce and the Mediterranean hummus platter. All three were fantastic. The hummus is house made and the best we've had. The cheese, spicy calamatta olives and warm flatbread were divine. They made a little pond of olive oil surrounded by hummus, for dipping. Delightful. The butterfly shrimp was scrumptious and the sauce was the perfect balance of sweet and hot. They spared no gravy and cheese on the fried on the poutine. Would have liked more fries, which were seasoned and cooked to perfection and also fresh cheese curds please. Still delicious . No complaints, just a note. We never order dessert, but since this was my birthday, we did. I had the brown butter espresso chocolate chip Blondie topped with vanilla ice cream and a drizzle of dark chocolate sauce. To die for! Hubby had turtle cheesecake with caramel on top. Fantastic! These were made with a whole lotta love and craftsmanship. Plenty of atmosphere, log fire, leather sofa and chair, relaxed but attentive staff, good food, no pressure great experience

The menu was essentially bar/pub food. It was ok but nothing really special.
