The Middlebury Inn

It's a beautiful inn. There is a lot of history behind it Rooms: The rooms are nice. The ones inside are beautiful ... Food & drinks: Morgan's tavern has amazing food and good drinks. ;)

This place is amazing. We stayed in the annex section on the night of 4/3/2024 but cannot wait to come back to stay in the main, historic building. The staff was incredibly helpful and kind. I cannot emphasize that enough. The individual who helped us was Jacob. He was so helpful and friendly as was the rest of the staff. We traveled from Ticonderoga and stayed overnight for a medical procedure the following day in Middlebury due to weather. The room was excellent; comfortable, with all the amenities we needed. I have only stayed there once, but based on this first experience, I highly recommend it.

I am amazed by the reviews written about this place. It is in desperate need of renovation! We are on a tour of New England colleges and this is by far the worst accommodations we have had. Window units have to be 30 or 40 years old. Everything is dated (not in a historic way but a needs to be replaced way). Rooms are super quirky and chopped up. I dont think there are many good options in Middlebury which is a shame. This should be a Graduate hotel! Demand better with your reviews. Be honest, this place does not deserve anything even close to a five star rating.

1. You think you reserve a nice room in a historic hotel and they put you in a ghetto motel room that smells like cigarettes and wet carpet. 2. You cant park im front of your motel door because the ghetto staff parks there. 3. Half the staff are felons. Expect to see prison tats such as tear drops under eyes. 4. My vehicle was robbed by a staff member while I was loading my vehicle early morning.
