Heart of the Village Inn, Modern Vermont Bed & Breakfast

The Heart of the Village Inn is a lovely place for a get-away! The innkeepers-Rose and Anatoly are great and welcoming. They give great advice on local restaurants and Anatoly makes the most delicious breakfasts Ive ever had! There are wineries and breweries a short drive away. It was an awesome vacation and I totally recommend staying there! Rooms: The rooms and beds were very comfortable. The shower was great pressure and temperature. Nearby activities: There so much to do in the area- great restaurants, wineries, breweries and shopping. Noteworthy details: The breakfast selection is extensive and every we had was delectable !

Rose and Anatoly were wonderful, welcoming hosts. The Inn is absolutely beautiful with loads of historical charm but tastefully decorated and modernized. I enjoyed exploring downtown Shelburne and Ill definitely come back to experience Shelburne Farms and the museum.

WE had two great nights!!! Rose and Antoly were very accommodating. This was a surprise for my wife and they kept the secret. Breakfast was off the charts.

Bed and breakfast should have comfortable beds and great breakfast. Well, Heart of the Village checks both boxes. Clean and comfortable environment, bed and pillows were great and breakfast was incredible, simply incredible.

I went to Vermont for a solo trip and I was looking for a small, cozy inn to stay at. I was lucky that Heart of the Village was one of the most quaint inns nearby and they were available after October 31st, since some businesses in the area close for the season. I cannot say enough good things about my stay. I appreciated the detailed instructions when I booked, the welcome email with all the information about my stay (with step by step pictures!) and the homemade breakfasts were amazing. Highly recommend the crab cake Benedict with a side of bacon. The room was clean, efficient and temperature was easily controlled. And it is very close to lots of cute shops and restaurants. The inn keepers were very friendly and professional. I will absolutely recommend Heart of the Village Inn to anyone visiting the area and I will return myself if I travel back to the area!
