Lodge at Millstone Hill

We had two different rooms: one on the main floor by the kitchen and living area and one on the first floor (tucked away). Note: By 7a, the main floor room could hear the bfast making and people chatting. Both were clean, comfy/rustic, and charming. Pierre & Frankie were readily available to check us in (and when I locked myself out of my room:). Lovely spot with beautiful views.

What a beautiful place . More than the lodge, the hosts are so kind and lovely . We enjoyed fresh baked muffins from the hosts. We met some lovely people traveling from different part of the country and world. It has a extremely scenic view and large area around for kids to run around. I believe they also organize parties (not sure) . But you must try to at least stay a day here and relax. Also if you are traveling during fall - winter try to arrive when it's still daylight.

What a beautiful rustic venue. We just had to stop on our way to Canada. Booked one night and we are so glad that we did. Didn't know what to expect but it was great. Morning sunrise was worth getting up to see. Peaceful and scenic views from this lodge are spectacular. Pierre was an excellent host. The fresh muffins for breakfast perfect... blueberry, raspberry and maple. Everyone loved them. Would definitely stay here again if in the area. Thanks again Pierre for a memorable experience.

Just back from our two night stay at The Lodge. Loved this place! Quirky, yes, but thats its charm. The location is beautiful. Sitting on the Adirondack chairs outside we had a beautiful sunset with mountains views in front of us. Inside spaces are decorated with all sorts of antique and vintage Adirondack style items, not reproductions, and yes that includes the taxidermy on the walls. Bed was very comfortable. The owner, Frankie, allows you to make yourself at home in the communal kitchen and sitting spaces. She serves a wonderful light breakfast each morning that includes fresh fruit salad and hot from the oven muffins. We were in the area for a conference but my husband and I are hoping to stay again and next time have time to explore the trails and quarry areas nearby.
