Extended Stay America - Washington, D.C. - Alexandria - Landmark

Please dont be fooled by the 2 stars. The rooms were clean, fridge was clean, sheets and towels were clean, and the service was A+. Honestly I dont know what I couldve complained about. But the service at the front desk was definitely amazing for me. They were super kind, super accommodating, and just did an awesome job overall. Special shout out to Akram, Maron, Senait, and Isaias for their great service. I made sure to have them write their names down specifically for this review. As consumers were quick to complain, however at the same time we have to take time to give praise when its due. Additionally, This is my second stay at an Extended Stay and honestly the benefits of having a stove and fridge is top tier. Rooms: Rooms are simple, but clean and well kept. Food & drinks: Free breakfast in the am. Its a grab n go breakfast (granola bars) and things of that nature, and coffee. But its a nice touch. Noteworthy details: There is a laundry room on site

Location is great. Maron and Isaias went above and beyond every time every encounter. Coming from the service industry, these two individuals carry themselves with pride for their work and embody what hospitality should be. Absolutely my two favorite people to work with here. Even my puppy loves them and thats huge for me. Thank you so much for making every part of my stay easy .

I would stay again for the customer service alone. The team at the front desk makes me feel at home. Even when things didnt go perfectly, they stepped in with the utmost professionalism and gave me the assistance I needed during my stay. Thank you front desk! Dorsaima out.

I've stayed here twice because it is a convenient location, but there seem to be a lot of kids/teens hanging around in the area. Like any time I'd go out & smoke I'd get harassed by several bums. I've even had friends come over and visit who also expressed concern about whether their car/belongings are safe. The first time I stayed here I went outside my room to smoke and as soon as I opened the stairs there was some homeless person sleeping on the stairs with drug paraphernalia everywhere. I had to walk over them just to get to the door. I told the front desk & she did not respond effectively. The guy finally left, but that seems like it hurts the very most. I would NOT recommend this hotel to families with children under any reason. Nearby activities: Lots of things near by Walkability: Lot's of things nearby
