Arlandria Floors

I needed flooring for a single room, and wanted to work with a local business. I initially went in with my inquiry, and they said they could come out to measure. The rep seemed reluctant to come out on a weekend when I was available, but agreed, and then sent an image of their recommended flooring product which I didn't love. Soon after, I went into the store and asked to be shown similar products but did not feel I was well informed by Arlandria floors about the ideal product options for the particular area I was having redone. I felt like I had to really dig for information in terms of pros and cons or what even made one product different from another. It was the exact opposite of what I expected in terms of dealing with a local, longstanding business. Ultimately, I requested quotes for two different types of flooring. Twelve days later I had not received the quote, so I emailed my sales rep, who didn't respond. On the 15th day, I went into the store to ask if they were planning to follow up, and, on around day 17, I received a partial quote which included only one of the two products I requested pricing on. I emailed back to request the quote for the additional product and after a week haven't heard back. Abysmal service. Editing to add: absolutely none of what the owner has responded aligns with my experience so this must have been someone else. I did receive a texted pic of the product from the rep (and was not working with another contractor who could have sent it), I did not have a notebook, nor spend nearly two hours in the store. I did not receive a rough quote that day, did not send a text saying to disregard any back and forths (as we had not communicated over texts beyond that single exchange with the product image). I also wasn't ordering carpet.

My floors are beautiful! I am so happy with the quality of work in my home. I had such a wonderful time working with Sam, who went ABOVE AND BEYOND to ensure I received top quality work and follow up attention. I did not have the most pleasant in-store experience with the staff, but I would work Sam all day and every day. Also after quite a few price comparisons, Arlandria Floors came in at the most competitive price and I was not surprised with any hidden charges or fees later. If you need your floors redone, go with Arlandria Floors!

Used Arlandria Flooring to replace / upgrade flooring after water damage destroyed some of our existing flooring. They removed the old floor, prepped the subfloor, and installed new flooring over the course of about a week while we were still living in the space. I don't recommend living through a floor replacement if there's a reasonable option not to, but it's hard to see how anyone else could have managed the project better than Arlandria. Not everything always went straight according to plan--a lot of things have to go right to get the job done--but they were extremely good at adapting the plan to unexpected contingencies to get the project done efficiently and on-time. The crews were very good at what they do--the demolition, the prep, and the installation. They seem very invested in getting all of the details right, and we're very happy to have used them for this project.

Arlandria Floors was great to work with! We needed to replace continuous flooring in our home due to water damage. The flooring we had was there when we purchased the home, so we had no idea what floor we needed in order to match. We brought in an insurance report with a few potential brands and a sample piece of flooring. Justin was able to help us find the matching floor after lots of hopeless searching on our own. We were able to pickup our order from the warehouse in a timely manner. Thanks to Justin and Arlandria floors we were able to keep our continuous flooring and didnt have to install a transition strip which we were very grateful for. Highly recommend this local business!

I worked with the team at Arlandria Floors to replace wall to wall carpet in a large 1970s condominium apartment. From beginning to end, members of the team - Ozzie, Matt, Erich, and all the installers - were well informed, straightforward, and detail-oriented. Never having put in new hardwood, carpet, and sheet vinyl in any home I've owned, I was very nervous about everything. However, the ordering and installation went great, and the new flooring is absolutely beautiful. Thank you, Arlandria Floors in Del Ray. I am very glad to have worked with an independently owned local business and I will continue to recommend you highly to everyone I know.
