Michael was not very responsive to emails/phone calls.  He usually responded a couple days after I contacted him.  The last time, he didn't respond at all.  We spoke with him twice regarding a situation that we had and he was very knowledgeable, but I need responsiveness too.

We have known Michael for years and there was no question who to call when we needed legal work for our business.   What we thought was simple, turned out to be more complex and he really knew how to handle things.  Next we plan to work with him on our will and medical directive.

Mr. Coogen did an outstanding job helping me with a dispute. He seems very low key and is easy to talk with; he listens well. However, he saw that my situation required a bit of a "hammer" approach, as well as legal expertise, and he provided both. He responded quickly to email and phone inquiries. I would highly recommend him.

I was referred to Michael Coogen by a few different people, all who had nothing but great things to say about him. At the time I was going through a stressful situation and worried that the attorney fees would get out of control.  Michael was extremely diligent and efficient.  Throughout the entire process, I felt like my time/money was not being wasted.  He was extremely knowledgeable, creative and trustworthy - highly recommend him.
