Calico

I had a sofa and chairs reupholstered through Calico Corners in Arlington at Williamsburg and Yorktown Blvd within the last year. They were very helpful and did a great job with the reupholstery.

I worked with Amanda to re-cover old cushions and pillows that were on my sunporch. I explained what I wanted, we worked well together, and had the same vision for the project. She listened and made great suggestions. The final result was wonderful, the cushions and pillows are beautiful right down to the smallest detail, and I'm very pleased! I highly recommend Calico Corners in North Arlington for any design work. Amanda is an amazing designer!!

The fabrics and workmanship are amazing. However, their customer service is the worst that you will ever encounter.  They charged an outrageous price for a custom bedspread and took six months to deliver it. When it was fully paid for they delivered it. It had stitching flaws and I returned it to be fixed. It has now been three months and it has not been returned. They couldn't care less because it was fully paid. If a repair is necessary, they put it at the back of the line behind billable jobs. You may never see it again! Calico is the worst customer service in the world. My next decision is when to sue them. BEWARE!!!!!

Very disappointed!  I brought an ottoman in for reupholstering in November.  I received the quote and was told that there was a big back log and it would take 3-4 months to get to my piece.  It was recommended that I take it home and wait for a call to bring it back in.  I followed up today, 3 months later and apparently my piece was never placed in the queue.  So I have been waiting in a non existent line for 3 months.  Thanks for wasting my time!  It was overpriced anyway so maybe I am better off.

Calico has been outstanding for me. If you're not happy with anything they make it right. I had to change a few things on my sofa....they fixed immediately. I love my sofa now...with a few tweaks it's perfect! I worked with Ann, she is a great designer and has a great eye for the 'total room'. I like that she tells you what she thinks, without being pushy. She listens to what you're look your going for within your budget and directs you to great sample options for fabrics and puts it all together. Her opinions have made my new calico sofa match well with her fabric choices to reupholster 2 chairs and an ottoman. My experience has been very pleasurable working with Calico...I recommended working with Ann G. in Arlington (the others are too snooty or just want the sale and move on) Ann G works with you to insure you're happy. They have fabulous fabulous fabrics!
