I found May from IG and had an easy and quick way to get in contact with her to schedule a family session. Her communication was timely and informative (loved the article on choosing outfit for the shoot). During the day of the shoot, she was very efficient in capturing moments with our toddler and an infant. I was pleased to get previews to our gallery just a couple days after our shoot day. I love the light and airy feeling she conveys through her style of photography. The whole process was super streamlined and easy. Will definitely want to go to her again.

May gave an amazing professional photoshoot session! She really got to know us a family to make sure we felt very comfortable with her during our shoot. She took the time and was really patient with us since it was so busy in DC during the Cherry Blossom season. She found amazing spots to take photos that really highlighted what we were looking for. We were referred to her by a friend who had done a maternity shoot with her and she was beyond what we were expecting in all the best ways possible. We will for sure book her again for our future photoshoots and definitely refer her to our friends and family.

We booked May for a cherry blossom mini session, and are so glad we did! I was drawn to the framing and lighting of her shots. She has a laid-back and sweet personality, and was able to engage our baby really well, and got some amazing photos. May is a professional: she knew exactly where to get the best shots. She is very responsive to emails, and the session was very easy to set up. Will definitely work with her again!

We loved working with May! The photos are BEAUTIFUL! We have taken professional family photos with a few different people in the past, and what really stood out about May to me is how confident and clear her communication is. Photos are often a little uncomfortable for me because I'm not totally sure what I'm supposed to be doing, but her direction was so immediate and natural that I didn't get the chance to overthink it. We had to reschedule because of weather, but she let me know the moment the forecast looked bad so we could figure it out right away. She sent a guide on what we should wear and asked me to share photos that I liked so that even if I couldn't articulate it, she could see the types of photos I liked and keep that in mind for our shoot. She was great with my 2.5-year-old daughter, too, and got some of my very favorite photos we have of her. I can't speak highly enough about her. She has such an ease and confidence and prepared us so well that I felt confident, too, and it shows in our pictures.
