I would give this practice a 0 if I could. I went to the Chantilly office with an Ulcer the first week of February. The Nurse Practitioner proceeded to lecture me for the entire visit. Finally advising that they would schedule an Endoscopy and Colonoscopy shortly. Also, because of my age, it would have to be performed at a hospital. When I asked what that meant, I was told in approximately one month. They finally called today to schedule, 6 weeks after my original appointment. In the meantime I went to another Gastroenterologist and had the procedures completed in their office. The ulcer was confirmed, and biopsies have been returned for both procedures . I am guessing that this practice wanted me to have these procedures at a hospital so that they could collect additional insurance money. I also received a bill that exceeded the allowable amount paid by Medicare and my gap Insurance by 50%. So, not only do I feel as if my medical conditional was nothing but a money grab for this practice, but the lack of empathy and care is strikingly insufficient. I strongly recommend going anywhere but here.
