Very friendly staff. She gave us a lot of good information. If your visting this area, I highly recommend a stop at this center. The internet service is not good in the area. Their pamphlets really came in handy.

I stopped by the Alleghany Highlands Chamer of Commerce a few days ago to pick up a few brochures for a friend who might move here. The super nice employee gave me a great packet already prepared and answered all of my questions, plus gave me additional information. But the brochures... they have the absolute best selection I've ever seen. Hundreds! And not just confined to Alleghany county; the surrounding areas are also very well covered. Let me put it this way... they gave me a box because I chose so many. All in all, a very pleasant and productive experience. Highly recommend.

We like to explore the area we live close to and this was the perfect place to get lots of info presented in a neat, clean and welcoming way. Information ranged from area attractions to current local festivals and events. The lady working there was super helpful and friendly, even gave us cool bottled water on that hot day. The visit was quite a pleasant experience. Explore your area :)
