        I am thankful to have the opportunity to complete my university internship at Good Hope Equestrian & Regenerative Farm, Inc. It has been the most amazing experience being a part of this organization for the past few months. From the positive atmosphere in the barn to the amazing individuals that participate in equine-assisted activity sessions every week, this place is truly a gift to the community. Mrs. Peggy has created a wholesome environment where everyone is cared for and treated like family, especially the horses. She is a special person, and the work she continues to do at this facility is positively impacting the lives of many individuals. I highly recommend everyone to come out and experience what this facility has to offer!

      The mission of Good Hope Equestrian & Regenerative Farm, Inc. (GHERF) is to provide quality equine-assisted and regenerative farming practices to children, youth, and adults with and without disabilities to enhance their independence, personal potential, and quality of life. Using the horse as its tool and its 270-acre facility as its classroom, GHERF is committed to offering quality equine and regenerative farming programs and services that meet the educational, vocational, recreational, and rehabilitative needs of South Central Virginia.
