Major Moving

Matt the owner was outstanding!!!! And his partner that helped me and my husband move! He really helped me out in a huge time of need! And worked around my schedule,he made everything a smooth move and was so friendly made me feel like I was talking with family! They are professional, punctual, on time, very nice! Also we had some bad weather when we actually got to our destination and they continueed to work so hard! They are the real deal!

The two gentlemen moving me showed up on time. They loaded my furniture from my home in Leesburg. The next day they dropped my furniture off at my new location in North Carolina.They damaged a couch, a piece of art, and two carpets. I spoke to the gentleman in charge from the office. He debated me on whether there was damage or not. He said they sent pictures and he saw no damage. I have received no restitution on this whatsoever. I was told if the art was so valuable I should've put it in a box myself to have it moved instead of depending on them to take care of it. All the furniture they did leave behind wrapped up in plastic they did not unwrap it I had to do that myself. The sectional couch was also left in pieces. They never put anything where I wanted it. The one mover said the couch was too heavy to carry it up a flight of stairs. I had to tell him there was no other option. He had to do it..

Horrible! Major Moving (Leesburg) totaled the moving truck during our move. The majority of furniture was damaged beyond repair, when it was finally delivered many days later. They have not provided information about the insurance company that they should have, nor provided any information about how they plan to resolve this issue. This was "fishy" from the start. They kept the moving truck loaded overnight, not planning to deliver to the moving site (only 3 hours away) until the following day (even though the truck was loaded directly from a storage facility, by early afternoon). Boxes had been gone through when finally receiving. Accidents happen, but they have been ignoring our phone calls and attempts to remedy the situation. And we're talking likely $10,000 in our property, damaged!
