I have worked with Cheryl multiple times. Her attention to detail is excellent. She does such a great job of helping her clients achieve their wants and needs. I highly recommend her if you are buying or selling in the central Va area!

I found Cheryl through a google search and liked that the reviews said she was good with first-time home-buyers and enjoyed helping her clients understand the entire home-buying process--which I am/was and very much needed as much help as I could get. I would recommend her to ANYONE looking to buy a home in the Lynchburg or surrounding areas as she very much lived up tot he hype. Not once did she make me feel bad about my lower budget as I found with a couple other realtors and she worked with me and actually really listened to what I wanted and needed and what my concerns were. She asked what I might be open to seeing that was outside my initial wants list and really made me feel comfortable with the price-point I was searching in. It can be hard in this (or what was the really tough, no inspections, initial offer over asking price offer wars, etc.) market and she made sure I was comfortable with all of it. she also did not balk whenever I gave her a long list of houses I wanted to view and each time pointed out what looked good and what may need to be checked and what was odd/not normal for a listing or what was normal, which made me feel confident in my opinions of each house I saw. When I finally found the house that became my new home it was listed over asking (I had asked to see it just in case it ever came down in price a second time) and she did her research before we even walked through the door--checking with the listing agent if there was wiggle room in the price, why it was on the market so long, what the are is like and what the market looked like in that neighborhood. Cheryl walked me through the entire process and was always, amazingly, patient with me no matter how many times I asked the same question to try to get my head around the process or next steps or what I should consider when making my decisions. She held my hand each step of the way, which was great as I was on my own in this process, and she made sure I was comfortable with everything. The process went so smoothly I could not believe my luck and I know it was in no small part because of Cheryl's efforts. Closing day we hit a snag with the final walk-through (the seller's realtor's fault, not mine) but even then Cheryl fought for me and made sure everything was as it should have been BEFORE I signed the papers--which was great as I feel with anyone else by my side I would have either been pressured to just sign and then try my luck at getting things fixed OR I would have given up and walked away from all of it. If you are looking for someone who will help you, and I mean actually have your back, suggest options for each house--inspections, contingencies, what plumbers or handymen or anything--and will take your wants and needs into consideration, I suggest you go with Cheryl. I cannot praise her enough and I feel so fortunate knowing from all of the horror stories out there about the home-buying process, especially for first-time home-buyers in the recent market that it could have gone so much differently, that I got the house I was meant to because she was with me. She truly loves what she does and it shows every step of the way!
