I asked if my son's Chromebook was worth fixing or not. I could not even get a price range estimate on the repair, over the phone. Fine, no big deal, I bring the computer in. The man said he could use replacement parts and that it would be affordable and cheaper than a new laptop. He called me and quoted $200, which I was hesitant to pay, because the same laptop is $300 brand new. I decided to proceed with the repair. When I got the computer back, the screen seemed smaller, but I wasn't really worried about it. Once I got home, I was unable to get the touch screen to work. I texted the man to ask if the screen was still a touch screen. He texted back saying it was. When I could not for the life of me get the screen to work, I called him. He then told me he "had mixed up his contacts" and he thought I was someone else. He then told me this Chromebook was never a touch screen. I told him it was and he insisted again that it wasn't. My son has special needs, and requires a touch screen, so I assured him the screen had always been a touch screen. He then told me he just tried to repair with the cheapest option. That wasn't what I asked for. Now I have a useless Chromebook because my kid cant use it, and I dont need it, and I'm out $200. He straight swindled me. In response to the owner's response: you are dishonest. You gave me the run around and ripped me off. You did not offer me a full refund, you offered to take my kid's laptop apart again, or fix it correctly to me more for the labor and correct part. You know what you did, you are a liar. Also, your response absolutely shows your lack of professionalism. Good job.

Son updated Windows 11 but laptop locked up. Salman was determined to repair this laptop and save data files. Technical competency and reasonable price. Check him out!
