Dr Sang Kim is an excellent/knowledgeable clinician and is the oral surgeon I would call for any of my family members facial/dental surgery. I would definitely recommend for anyone who is looking for wisdom teeth extraction and dental implants. The office offers sedation for comfort and Dr Kim is highly qualified for it. He took care of my daughters forehead laceration as same day emergency. Very accessible and easy to make appointments.

*Amended review according to offices request via e-mail and phonecall.* For context, I am a patient with Dr. Foretich, I am not a patient with Dr. Kim. According to the e-mail request I received to amend my prior review, there are two distinct practices operating at our location. While certain shared administrative functions exist, the medical care and practices of Dr. Sang Y. Kim and Dr. Eric Foretich are distinct. In other words, the offices are separate but they share front office staff. To be fair, my negative experience was not with either Dr. Kim nor Dr. Foretich (the latter I did meet and can say that I had a good first consultation with, I can say the doctor was experienced, knowledgeable, and conscientious). My negative experience was with the front office staff, who interface with all patients. I was instructed to come 15 minutes prior to my first consultation appointment. My appointment was scheduled at 9:50, so I arrived at 9:30. At 10:15, I had not been called yet and I heard in the back that a surgery was taking place, so I asked the front desk when my appointment would begin because I was under a strict timeline. I was given no information other than to wait patiently and the doctor would be with me soon. After another 15 minutes of waiting, I asked again when my appointment would begin, and I was told it would be another 30 minutes because of the surgery. I said that this is something they should have promptly notified me about while I was sitting there because it had been at least 30 minutes since I heard the surgery was started, but the front office staff rolled her eyes and stared at me without offering to reschedule and replied yes. About 15 minutes later, the same front desk person was speaking in front of patients in the waiting room, myself included, saying that everyone has lives, and jobs, and babies and I could wait. I felt this was disrespectful and unprofessional and other patients seemed to as well. At 11, nearly an hour and a half after I was told to arrive, my appointment was called. I want to be clear that my issue was with how unprofessionally this incident got handled and followed up by the front desk staff. I expressed my concerns calmly in the moment and was offered no information, options, or support, so I find it odd that the office contacted me twice after leaving my previous Google review. I feel that scheduling and interactions with the front desk are a part of ones doctor office experience and other patients may want to be aware of this information when they schedule and make time to go here.
