I've managed construction for over 35 years and had my own commercial concrete company that specialized in federal work. Wysin was awarded the concrete contract on one of Richmond's new schools and the schedule was tight and the quality standards were similar to those on the corps of engineers projects. The building was cut up, about 70,000 sf. Footprint and Wysin had it all to do. Layout, excavation, rebar, place and finish, flatwork, etc.
Wysin came through in a big way. The layout was spot on, rebar in correct position for the masonry, footings at the correct elevations. It all went in quickly, efficiently, without a hitch.
When it was time to come back and start the flatwork, they were right there and were comfortably able to handle pours in excess of 10,000 sf., while producing FF/FL results that were on target for the project requirements.
To summarize, Wysin was a key subcontractor in the success of the project. They exceeded expectations from the beginning through to the end. With Wysin on your next project, you have greatly increased your chances of a successful project.
