        Everything about this place was wonderful and reminded me why I used to like Holiday Inn. Great location albeit a little confusing access from the main road. Hopefully when the remodel it wont destroy their service like it has the rest of them.

        First of all I have stayed at this Holiday Inn many times but I have never had such a bad experience at a hotel even than I had the last time I stayed here a month ago. I was given a room that obviously hadn't been cleaned. The toilet was just let's say full of you know what and there was zero toilet paper. It was terrible. I returned to the desk and was given another room. This one was clean but when I stepped into the bathroom my shoes became stuck to the floor. When I tried to walk my shoes were almost pulled off my feet. I was exhausted and just wanted to sleep so I put towels down so I could go into the bathroom. I will definitely be contacting Holiday Inn. I have been a Holiday Inn customer for 40 years but this was too much.

        Up front, this is not a nice hotel. The room was disgusting. We found a pair of dirty socks in the nightstand. Floor was not cleaned, brown marks on the walls, spider and cobwebs throughout, several amateur patch work on the walls. What made it better is the kid who was cleaning the room across from mine ensured to tell me to tip him. For what? It is NOT a clean place. Only credit I will give is to the staff. Front desk was always helpful, polite, and professional.

        This place has went downhill in just 1 year. We stay here before an annual bike race every year. This year there was water damaged window sills, missing curtains, mold in the bathroom and and in general need of maintenance. On the other hand, the staff was fantastic! The lady running breakfast is quite possibly the hardest working person on the planet! She took great care of my boys and demonstrated true concern for everyone's needs. We will go back just because of her.
