I was so lucky to find Tammy! I needed to get away from my Medicare Advantage plan but I had no idea how to proceed. Tammy helped me to get back to regular Medicare and a supplement as well as dental insurance. We met a few times, she clicked this and that on her laptop and it was done! So easy for me! Tammy is so knowledgeable about insurance and truly enjoys what she does. I was dreading having to call insurance companies and get their automated robots. I wouldnt have been able to sign up for Medicare without the help of Tammy. She was patient and answered all my questions. Tammy loves people and it shows throughout the consultation with her. Tammy is awesome! She helped me go from clueless to fully confident and in a much better Medicare plan than I had. Cool, calm, and confident. Thats how I would describe Tammy Akers to anyone looking for answers. She was recommended to us by someone who spoke highly and kindly of Tammy. And no sooner than we shook hands, she lived up to what was said of her. I tried to wrap my head around Medicare and it was about to explode. And I just hate talking to Insurance/Financial gurus who always have the newest, biggest or best thing going. Never felt that with Tammy. She was easy and not rushed. At no time did I feel like an agenda was being pushed. I truly believe that if I had said no, she would have left assured that she had done her best, Id still have her respect and not leave me with the sense that I was the idiot. She systematically unwrapped that Medicare and Supplements kerfuffle squashed into the government anual Medicare booklet which likely cost billions to print and mail only to be thrown into the trash. She held nothing back. You could feel that she was imparting all one would need to make a competent decision, which we did and signed with her. She walked us through the Social Security maze to get require documents and approvals. Her timelines were spot-on as we transversed from commercial coverage to Medicare. And now that she has finished, I feel cool, calm, and confident. Thank you Tammy, you are a friend for life.
