    5 Stars is a joke, this place smells of strong urine when you walk through the hallways. The facility is terribly under staffed and filthy. Residents floors are so dirty that your feet stick to the floor. When you push the call bell for assistance no one comes, when you go to the front desk, no one comes. The residents are fed when they get ready sometimes breakfast is well after 7am. These residents literally sit in front of the dinning room locked doors demanding food. Considering the amount of money these residents pay monthly for this so called 5 Star service; they could at least keep the residents & place clean. Do better!!!

    All I can say is if you want to truly know about this place, ask your hospitality workers and patients, not management. Management will smile and tell you they have enough staff, and tell you this facility is up to par. And they will bring your parents in and make promises. Everything falls on your hospitality workers who clearly aren't being paid enough.. because the good ones are leaving. This place is full of agency workers, who don't care about the patients. Management ALLOWS staff to talk to the patients any way they want. NO REPERCUSSIONS!!! No RESPECT!! they DO NOT CARE, they want your money.. that's it

    My mother is a new resident of Morningside. She's been there a couple of weeks. She loves it. She says she is having the time of her life. It is a clean, nice place with a staff who seems to truly care. The residents seem happy. There are a lot of activities. I am truly impressed

    I just want to thank the staff at Morningside for providing my Mom & Dad with excellent care. They really take an interest in my parents and encourage them to get involved in all of the activities Morningside offers. They also provide transportation and that is so convenient when I work full-time. Thank you again!!

    My mom's care here was ok at best. There are some staff who care about the residents and you can tell, but there are others that treat the residents poorly and that ruins it for everyone. My mother would say that the staff "didn't like her" and would "fuss" at her and sure enough, I was on the phone with her, mom put the phone down, when a nurse came in and the way she was speaking to my mother was not kind and respectful. Not what you want for your parents. On top of that, they had a HUGE turnover of staff over the summer, the former director made promises he didn't keep, over billed my mother, etc. We moved her to a different facility in September - best decision ever. Sadly the temporary director and the new director have avoided all emails and don't return calls about the past payment that my mother was due. Now that we are not a resident I guess they don't care that their business practices are shoddy. More promises that the "check is in the mail" literally, that are empty lies. Horrible business management. I wouldn't put my parent here and would recommend you steer clear!
