Took my 22 years old cat because she suddenly got blind . I will let this review here so everyone can see what happened however my heart will hurt forever. Doctor said she had high blood pressure and prescribed half pill of amlodipine 2.5 mg and nothing more . The cat was eating and drinking well and she was extremely strong. 15 days later my cat stopped eating and drinking and she (the doctor ) said we should increase the dose of the medication to full pill and wait more 2 days and run a blood test and gave me 1 pill of gabapentin 100 mg to give her at the day of the blood test to calm down the cat . I thought 100 mg dose to a 22 years old cat was pretty weird likewise I thought it was extremely weird putting a blood pressure down so suddenly, nevertheless , who am I to question a specialist? Well I just needed to put my cat down after giving her that gabapentin pill . Suddenly after giving her the pill she stopped walking and I needed to see her dying in front of me . Thanks a lot !! Dont trust this people specially if your pet is old . They dont have any idea about what they are doing . Spoke with other vets and everyone agreed that dose of gabapentin was extra high to a little old kitty and even the amlodipine ought to have been administered more carefully because putting blood pressure down so fast can damage the heart and the brain as well . Im not silly and I know one day my cat would die , but she didnt need to die in such pain as I saw and definitely not by my hands forcing her wrong meds. My husband is feeling guilty because it was him who gave the gabapentin 100 mg and he saw her stopping walking suddenly in front of him after that pill . We pretty much payed to have our cat killed by wrong meds . So thanks a lot you guys ! Attached are 2 pics , one right before starting the meds and the other at the day of the blood test after the gabapentin. She never came back . Get your conclusions.

I was very fortunate to have discovered this clinic by accident. My 13 year old elderly Golden has Distichiasis. His eyes always needed cleaning and he would rub his face against the ground. Dr Belk is the best! She gave me some options. I chose to have his eyelids injected with botox because I felt sedation might be tough on him for minor surgery. It works great!!!! His eyes are beautiful and kissable again! The looks he gives me with his precious eyes make me so happy. He uses them to get anything he wants! I had a regular appointment with Boomer's vet for arthritis. I mentioned Dr Belk and the procedure. His vet never heard of it and was really impressed! Please get the work out! Your baby doesn't have to suffer!

We are so sorry for your loss of Tugga. We know how devastating it is to lose the pets that have been with us for such a large part of our life. It is especially hard when our geriatric pets get serious debilitating conditions and no matter how hard we try, we can’t fix them. We take pride in the level of care that we provide to our patients and we always take any feedback to heart. Please know that we are thinking of you during this difficult time.
