Norfolk Waterside Marriott

Rooms clean and very modern. Desk personnel gave differing answers to the same question. Takes far too long to receive incidentals deposit refunded.

The staff at this location are truly fabulous . I hope management here appreciates the individuals that work here . The breakfast I had here was fantastic ( especially for a hotel restaurant ). But even more impressive I had such wonderful service . The waitresses I had were incredible . That really marked my stay here . The room is just so so . Not a huge deal. Clean with all the simple things you need . The only thing I will say is , the walls are paper thin. My neighbors watching tv at a low volume was very loud . I also ended up waking up when my neighbors alarm (6am)went off . Sleeping here was just so so for me. The location is really great . You are walking distant to many sites . If you can get a view of the river from your room that would be a nice bonus.

Caroline and Fannie at the front desk, Walter James, and Alex at the valet and info desk were amazingly friendly and helpful! Pool was clean and refreshing! Room had great views and lived having Waterside just across the street!

Love the Marriot chain. Really enjoyed this one. Close to a lot. Comfortable.
