The room I had was nice and the staff was nice enough to hook me up with a room in the first floor, grateful for that. Breakfast options were alright, kept me full way past lunch. It's located conveniently next to a shopping center with restaurants, grocery store, barber shop, alterations shop. I appreciated the fact that I could just walk 2 minutes to the store and get something I needed.

Building is old but clean. The bathroom is cleaner than a Double Tree I stayed in the week before. That's surprising.
I've interacted with 4 staff members, and they were all generally nice, but one had a bit of an attitude.
TVs should really be updated so guests can log into their streaming service.
Walkability: The property is located right next to a small strip mall with different eateries and a Food Lion. I found that really convenient.

Not up to Hampton Standards. All Hampton Inns have slipped over the years. Not what they used to be. Owners need to inject some capital $$ and renovate. I choose Drury Inn and Suites whenever I can.

The room is OK but it looks like there was water damage from the tub. There are other minor issues but they should fix the wall by the tub. The furniture is also dated. Gov rates pretty much force people to stay in 3 star or less hotels but this looked better than base owned/operated hotels, which are usually more run down and dated than off post options. Staff is wonderful so there is only glowing comments for them but hotel wouldn't be my first option.

The receptionist I checked in with was professional and charismatic. The rooms are small for the price. Checked in to room and began getting ready. The tub did not drain at all. Reported to the front desk and they were able to give us a room to utilize the shower since they were out of double beds. Later that night, noticed one adult roach in the shower and two baby roaches on the sink. Reported to the front desk that they needed an exterminator ASAP.
