        During my checkup today I had to have blood drawn. Earlier this month LabCorp tried both arms and could not find a vein. Mary at WCAWI nailed it on the first try and not only got the blood they needed but also the blood for the failed LabCorp tests!

        I have been a patient of Dr. West's for three years. I do not know what the future holds, but I firmly believe that these three additional years are because of his knowledge, experience, and expertise. I feel like his chemo nurses are part of my family. Their welcoming, friendly nature and attention to the patient's needs makes chemotherapy a place I do not dread going. And that is saying a lot. Having this team of professionals in your back pocket gives you a fighting chance. I am grateful to be alive and have Women's Cancer and Wellness Institute to thank.
