Unprofessional as hell. I chose her because my original doctor wasnt here , so I chose her. I respectfully declined the TDAP shot because of something that happend to me last year so I didnt want to do it today. The nurse outside the door told her and her exact words were shes 20 years old . When her baby gets the Whooping cough she will change her mind. I could hear her outside the door ! I will NEVER let that lady touch me again. Its one thing to come in and teach me the side effects of it to make me more calm and get me to change my mind about it but no she said what she said , and for every body whos saying shes blunt and honest shes not. Shes rude and disrespectful. Especially since Im black and the rate for us dying during child labor is extremely high and I hope shes sees this as well. I will not longer see another doctor unless its my original doctor . I dont care if I have to wait an extra few weeks. Im very upset.

I take no pleasure in leaving bad reviews, but I want other people to know that the bad reviews about Dr. Tuckey-Larus are true. I had an appointment with this doctor today for a breast check because I noticed a lump on my breast. I was told when I scheduled the appointment that my regular doctor was not available, so I made an appointment with the first available doctor - Dr. Tuckey-Larus. I never even got to meet this doctor. I was in the waiting room for an hour when a nurse came out to tell us that Dr. Tuckey-Larus had to leave for an emergency C-section. We were told that our options were to wait (another) hour or reschedule the appointment. There were about 4 other people waiting to see her. No telling where I was on the list of patients waiting to see her. Seeing as this appointment was very stressful and emotional for me, I was less than impressed with the way this doctor keeps her schedule. She should really be more considerate of her patient's time and not overbook her schedule. I have an AMAZING doctor and nurse at this practice, and I will never schedule an appointment with another doctor again. I will gladly wait another week or two, so I don't have to deal with this stress again. Thankfully, I was able to see a nurse practitioner. She was very kind and comforting, and I really appreciate her willingness to fit me into her schedule. My regular nurse even came down to check on me because she heard about what happened. I hope Dr. Tuckey-Larus takes some notes...

This doctor put an IUD in me without even caring if she hurt me and I almost had a seizure (I have epilepsy) and she just left the room and didn't even come back to check on me. She also put the IUD in me wrong, the string is gone, and it isnt in the correct place--She was too busy getting to her other overbooked patients. If you see this doctor you will wait more than an hour. Also she doesn't listen to you at ALL. She will talk over you and her attitude is a snot. Worst attitude from a doctor I've ever experienced and I will never see her again. I'd give her a negative review if I could.
