I loved working with Phil and highly recommend him to anyone who is looking for a realtor. With the market flooded with realtors these days, finding a good one is not easy and to be honest, most realtors that Ive met in the past when looking for a home was just looking to make a quick buck and it really deterred me from working with realtors. However, I was introduced to Phil from a realtor that I was working with while selling my home and I am forever grateful for that. I dont know how I got so lucky, but that was how I felt when working with Phil. As a first-time homebuyer, I was nervous and anxious with how the process work when buying a home for the first time. Phil was patient, answered all my question in a timely manner and really lessened my anxiety while guiding me throughout this whole procedure. I genuinely had such an amazing experience working with Phil.
My situation is a bit unique as I was selling a home from out of town, at the same time, I was looking to purchase a home in Midlothian while being out of town. Phil assured me that he could work with me even though I was out of town and so I started sending Phil photos of homes that I was interested in and he immediately started looking for homes that were similar to what my interests were. Phil was able to get appointed times to see up to 3-4 homes/day immediately (pretty much the following day or within the same week) and I really appreciated that.
Since I lived out of town at the time, Phil accommodated that by meeting up with a few of my family members in the local area for the showing. Not only did he do that, but he went above and beyond and filmed an entire personalized virtual tour of the home to send to me. Again, this was one of the many reasons how it lessened my anxiety, because now I can get feedback from my family on top of Phils personalized tour, which were very detailed. Another great reason to work with Phil is his networks. He seems to know everyone in town. He did recommend someone local for a loan, but I wasnt impressed with the rates. In the end, I shopped around and looked for another bank company which offered better rates, I appreciated Phil for working with me on that.
The closing went fast and easy, and all my questions were answered. I should also add that Phils character is awesome. Previously before he became a realtor, he was a choir teacher. I love that. His personality is fun and optimistic for the most part, but when its time to get serious, he does. This whole process took 1 month, which was ok for me, as this is my first home and I took my time. I highly recommend working with Phil Lawson. Thank you for everything sir.

Phil is the best realtor. He worked with us buying our new home and selling the home we lived in for 2 decades. We needed to leave our beautiful 2 story home and find a one level home in Richmond. Phil worked tirelessly and made himself available whenever we needed him. He is sharp and thorough and really knows this market. He employed strategies that facilitated the sale of our home in just 3 days! It was a real pleasure to work with him. Definitely will recommend him.

I had the pleasure of having Phil as my realtor when buying a home in Richmond, Virginia. Phil was very helpful, knowledgeable, patient, and thorough throughout the process, making the process stress free. Phil went above and beyond in all stages of the process, doing things such as taking detailed video recordings of walk throughs when I was not in town, employing strategic offer/negotiation tactics, and more.
