If you want any confidentiality or professionalism, I suggest going elsewhere for therapy. I had made it extremely clear, with multiple people, what information can and cant be told to my parents. After telling my psychiatrist everything, they sent an email detailing very personal things that I had shared. I had stressed multiple times that the information was to remain confidential (which is in my full legal right to do). I was told that it would remain confidential. When I had confronted my psychiatrist about this breach of confidentiality, I was told it was one of the administrators that had messed up. She even told me that she had called and told the front desk receptionist to keep it confidential. Additionally, she said she had written multiple notes about it in my file. When calling one of the administrators, she did nothing but talk down to me. She repeatedly told me that it was my fault, when I took the proper precautions to prevent this from happening. She repeatedly interrupted me and even raised her voice at me, when I was talking calmly the whole time. It got to the point where I had to yell over her and tell her to stop talking over me. She told me that my psychiatrist lied and didnt tell the front desk receptionist anything. Im not sure who was lying, but the entire ordeal was extremely unprofessional. If I could give zero stats, I would.

We were helped by Elyse in the initial scheduling of our son's appointments. She was incredibly helpful and super patient. As a first time user of Blackbird, we were super impressed by Elyse's professionalism and attention to detail. During our subsequent interactions, Elyse remembered our information and always follows up as promised. It's a pleasure interacting with her and Blackbird did an amazing job of finding and hiring such a wonderful employee.

We have been so happy with the care team at Blackbird Health. My sons therapist is amazing and able to talk to him using his language which helps him to open up more (often hard to get preteen/teenage boys to talk). Being able to move between virtual and in person visits also help with our busy schedules. Love that we are able to email, text, and call with equal ease with all of the members of our team. I cant recommend them enough.
