These building treats Uber delivery and Amazon drivers horribly, I am sorry for the residents but I will return any delivery to the source from now on.

After living here a few years, the pandemic, along with slum lords, & never ending projects, (one that requires ongoing drilling into the concrete patios that echoes through the building), this building has seen a significant decline. 4.5 stars for views but 0 star for experience. These units were originally sold off very cheap during the 2008 recession & the majority of the units are rentals. Theres a group of land lords (many very old) who own multiple units in the building (a lot under under LLCs) & theyre not engaged and not taking care of the units or the building itself. Now, units are being sold off for cheap & the building has declined significantly. I got a slum lord who wouldnt repair basics once I signed. Things such as leaking under the sinks, fully molded washing machine, toilets that run constantly, old damaged carpet, broken blinds, & more. I initially wrote off the lack of response because theyre 80 but realized this is a trend in this building. As far as noiseWe never heard anyoneuntil this year. People yelling inside their units once in awhile is ok but we hear full on arguing adults (not kiddos) every evening now. Decor in lobby is a bit dated but nice. The hall carpets were changed out & remind me of my great grandmoms 1980s mauve country flowers design. They dont match the other decor at all. Views from many of the units is very nice. Approved development shows a building will be erected in the front vacant lot soon. Patios look great but as another review said, theres heavy winds & most units cant use them. Ive had a heavy iron patio set damaged as a result & a quick glance will show very few have patio furniture. Windows are very thin & will bring typical city sounds like traffic & such even while closed. The elevators are ok but theres a constant smell of pot in the north side elevators. It doesnt phase me that much but whats worse is that since cigarettes smoking is allowed in the units, it permeates to other units so my unit regularly smells like cigarette smoke. Trash is gathered daily but residents just throw stuff in the trash rooms now. Agree with otherswould definitely not buy here and caution that theres many slum lords. Theres far nicer rentals in the area, including 2 well-managed apartment buildings right next door & the Boro down the street.

The condo is located in an excellent location, and the lobby is attractive. The security rating is 65%; the problem with the apartment itself is one of the bedroom doors open right in front of the kitchen, and be sure the trash can empty daily. Also, the dishwash runs before going to the bedroom. Elevator five out f seven has been delayed. It has been over two months still contractor is fixing the small balcony items from the balcony that must be placed in your living area until God knows when they will finish, amazon delivery is poor. Overall worth to rent, not to buy!
