    Very nice Sleep Inn and Suites with convenient location. Nice little bath water temp pool. Rooms were clean and comfy. Nice beds and pillows and better than expected for price of all other area hotels at this level. AC unit only goes down to 68 and just one more towel would have been good. 12 pm checkout is a big plus! As a special note of accolade, Stacy the breakfast lady was absolutely phenomenal and nothing like some whacked out previous review mentioned. What that person thought as hovering over her was merely the utmost passion for doing a fine job, exceeding expectations and trying to be helpful! (She was probably was loading her grocery bags with food to go) Stacy was by far the best part of our two night stay. As I sat back and watched her work, she helped little old ladies make their waffles, know some of them by name and even imparted info that their microwave did best at 55 seconds with the Jimmy Dean sandwich unwrapped instead of wrapped at 60 seconds! This was passion for her job and her customers complete and total satisfaction. I travel extensively and only ever see that in a hotel franchise owner, never in a breakfast room server. They usually hide away and you have to hunt them down to get any extra support or service. This will be our hotel when we are in town simply because of her. She deserves significant corporate recognition and a raise for her kindness and attentiveness! Bless you Stacy! You set the motion of our day on the best note! Hope to see you again on our next visit!

    My review is based upon my experience between this hotel and Expedia. I made an incorrect reservation, and asked the hotel if changes could be made. They said I would be able to make a request through Expedia, and they would gladly accommodate. I made a request through Expedia, and was told the hotel denied my request. I would like to think the management at this hotel would be honest, but I'm very disappointed to find out that I was taken advantage of by the management at this property. I can look past the dirty floors, bad smells, and old bedsheets, but clear disingenuous business practice is a disgrace. The management should be ashamed of themselves - but they'll likely just deny that any of this happened. EDIT: Based upon the hotel's response, they are blatant liars. Expedia absolutely will refund if you have them request it, and the person behind the desk when I was at the property explicitly stated that as long as Expedia reaches out, they would complete the refund. (If the hotel sees this edit - don't try any other excuses. I know you're disingenuous)

    I often go to Winchester for business. I always stay at their hotel every time I go there, but this time I was very unhappy. During my stay, my finger was bitten and swollen and I couldn't make a fist. I reported it to their front desk. The first lady told me that the manager was not there and asked me to come the next day. The next morning, another lady came to work and also said that the manager was not there, but told me that the manager would call me when he came to work the next day. However, I waited for almost 2 weeks and did not receive a call from the manager.

Unfortunately, when you make your reservation through a third party website I am unable to provide you with any compensation as the third party company owns that reservation and any discounts or refunds must be requested through them.
