Very welcoming and thoughtful place that offer a great selection of amenities to the community. Great staff from the leasing office down to the maintenance man. -Update 3/20/24 The decision to sack Ellen from the managerial position just doesnt sit right with me. Someone who went completely out of their way to help me with any issue I had even way past her office hours. She was always on it and made sure to hold a conversation with me any time she passed by me. She always remembered the small details and asked me about it all the time and those are the things that made living here worth it. With that gone I just dont know how I can renew.

Pilchuck Village apartments staff is top notch. Ellen always responds even when it's her day off. Tawny and all the staff are exceptional. The apartments and amenities are great. We feel safe here in our little community. My dog loves the dog park! Great area with new businesses going up. Cant say enough about the apartments, Ellen and staff.

This place has all the promise of a well-constructed facility that clearly cost a lot of money. This place also has all the failings of a corporate-level mismanagement and reactionary policies. When I moved here, the head of the property Ellen helped get me settled in on very little notice. I have been here since December 2022, when they first opened the A building. I have watched them build out the entire facility and endured dozens of needless entries into my unit to fix basic issues that should never have happened in the first place. In 14 months here, I have had to make my unit available for entry on at least 20 different days. It never stops. Pilchuck Village has fiber internet, but no one there knows about it. You have heaters in all the rooms in the units, but no Air conditioning. You have an entire row of parking spaces that residents are not allowed to use, as they are reserved for businesses below the tentants. ZERO of these businesses have opened since Pilchuck originally promised Spring of 2023. Residents are currently having their vehicles broken into after the Corporate office decided the solution was to have *ASSIGNED* parking spaces in the abandoned haagens parking lot across the street (I am not joking). Just this morning someone's truck was broken into and also had their gas siphoned. So not only do we have zero businesses here, residents are forced to pay for electricity and trash removal for two current buildouts. They are both SALONS. Somehow after 2 years we are going to have 2 salons and 7 empty stores while they continue to raise rents and move people into dangerous situations. The only reason I can stand all of this is because of Ellen and Tawny. They are without a doubt the best apartment managers I have ever met. I have gone into that clubhouse to get my mail, complimentary water, and a smile on the regular. Suddenly I find out one of our crazier neighbors (the karen who spends all day complaining in the office about literally everything) somehow got Ellen FIRED because she helped someone beyond the requirements of her job. This place is going downhill fast. There are no businesses to go to here, except eventually 2 expensive salons (btw there are 2 salons next to the abandoned parking lot they make people park at). Since Ellen was fired there's been zero communication from the landlord or corporate, we literally do not get updates now. If you're fine living somewhere with no AC and management that lets anything slide because they're terrified of a Karen getting them fired, you'll love living here. Everyone here that was happy is like me now, realizing the empty promises are never going to happen, just higher rents.

Ive lived at Pillchuck for about 14 months now. Tawny and Ellen made the moving process so easy. Ive lived in apartments where you can really tell that the managers dont care about their tenants. This is not the case, or was not the case, for Pillchuck. Ellen and Tawny are the most caring, understanding, and positive apartment managers. If I had a problem, all I would have to do was raise my hand, and they would do whatever they could to make sure to fix it and make me feel like a valuable tenant. For example, I had multiple issues with the person who parked next to me, and they were more than understanding and were able to move my spot. Last week they decided to let go of Ellen without warning over something absolutely ridiculous, showing that they do not care about their residents. Ellen was one of the major reasons why we loved this complex. Knowing thats how they treat a manager who went above and beyond for their residents is a pretty good example of how they treat their residents. That being said, the first couple of months we lived here, they probably entered our apartment at least 15 times and only gave us the warning that we would have people entering our unit from 8 am to 6 pm. Our power would be off for the majority of the day at least a couple of days. Over the last 14 months, we would have days where they would turn our internet off, change the internet, change our doors, change our fobs, change the days that they would need to enter our units, and it was just all very inconsistent with little to no notice. My husband works from home, so you can imagine how great it is to not be able to work for like three weeks. Also, theres not enough room for residents to park, and now we are being charged for the electricity and garbage bills for the two salons they are building on the first floor. We were also told that restaurants were going to be leased in the storefronts, which made this apartment complex very appealing. Instead, we get two salons. Additionally, residents who didnt get lucky enough to get a parking spot in the complex get to park in the abandoned Haggen's parking lot, where apparently gas is being siphoned from their cars. Not to mention the rent is extremely expensive for what you get. All in all, this place was great but now with Ellen gone, everything definitely has gone downhill. Unsure about renewing our lease with all of these horrible changes.
