Was with this dentist for 10 yrs, what I got in the end was all my top teeth pulled and a full upper denture, after he had rebuilt the top teeth and said my teeth were worth saving when I voiced my concerns in the very beginning. Teeth that he had done, root canals and crowns both failed , he shaved down my permanent bottom teeth to fit a denture, the lower teeth where he put fillings in the fillings have fallen out, after thousands possibly $10k of work, im left with broken rotting teeth on the bottom as well. I originally had given a good rating because they work with you on payments and staff and dentists were friendly. I also trusted and believed in him when he told me he could save my teeth. Im too traumatized to go back as he had many many opportunities to fix teeth that he had done work on, lower left is a failed root canal, the tooth was pointed out several times and he just realigned the partial without fixing the root cause. Dr. Steven Doddabarra, seemed always too busy getting to his next appts and at the beginning of 2024 he started charging for the gas, that was the only thing that kept my anxiety and apprehensions down. I thought that was part of the package deal after all the money and time spent there. Very disappointed and not going back. Now I have to look into implants that I cant afford.

Dr. Lisa Dodobaras-Simpson did a filling on my tooth which took one hour and it affected my bite to the degree it was causing headaches and discomfort if I tried to close my jaws. I left a message (on a Sunday) with the receptionist who responded within 24 hrs that I could come in to get this fixed. One day later I was able to come in and Dr. Simpson commented that she had personally left me a message about the dental situation on my phone. I received no such message and felt mild concern that someone unknown had received my medical information. The tooth itself was somewhat painful and Dr. Simpson noted the filling had started to come loose. She agreed to try to correct the bite and repair the filling and expressed surprise I wanted any anesthetic for this process. She did give me carbocaine (which I take instead of novocaine) but in an amount that did not prevent pain and several times I flinched in pain because I had not received adequate anesthetic. She expressed confusion about how to repair the bite and seemed to be asking me, a non-dentist, what she should do, and this made me worried. I tried to gently express that I had never had to return to a dentist to have them repair work before and that I felt frustrated she had verbally implied (seven times) that my pain was in my head. She stated in a very angry voice "I'm cutting you off right there" and proceeded to say her policy is to not question the legitimacy of a patient's pain. She spoke for 2 or 3 minutes about this in such an angry and raised voice that it made me cry. I felt I had been trying to give this dentist a second chance instead of insisting another dentist correct her work and I was trying to keep faith in her ability and the thanks I got was to be treated badly. She repaired the filling (this second appointment also took one hour) but said she couldn't guarantee it would hold because she had expected the first one would hold, and again her tone was angry, as if this was my fault. Her assistant had used articulation paper to measure my bite and this paper contains nontoxic blue dye and rather than having her assistant just use water to wipe off the blue streaks this left on one side of my face, I got to wear them all the way home. Had this dentist just given me a heartfelt apology and assurance she could repair the problem, I might have been able to still have confidence in her ability. The minute her harsh attitude made me cry, I knew I would not keep her as a provider.

I had zero problems with my teeth until this dude started drilling on them. Now my teeth are wrecked. Whole life... not a single filling... same shadow on the X-ray with no pain. Dude says I'll need more work if I don't do it. So he drills out several of my teeth and it hurts to eat now. Dude doesn't check to see if you're numb. I'm sweating and in pain and he's rushing to have me open my mouth to the drill some more. Cmon dude I don't trust you anymore. He did my wife's filling and her filling fell out while new. He was pushing to drill my daughter's baby teeth that she was set to lose in less than 12 months anyway. What a friggin joke. Braces on a 7 year old? Her adult teeth aren't even in yet and her babies aren't crooked. This guy is a quack.
